Clubs
Sanskaar International School encourages students to participate in a wide-range of clubs in schools including performance and art club ,the dramatics club, the Film Club, Community Services Club, Observation and Curiosity club and Eco-Club. With various clubs to choose from, students are certain to find one that matches their interests or talents or simply spark their curiosity.
Dramatics Club
Drama is an art form which embraces all the other art forms and gives the learner a wonderful exposure to all the arts. The school provides a platform for children to express their theatrical talent by putting up a number of short plays for various events and festivals throughout the year.
Through drama, exercises and games, the children are taught to enact, enunciate and emote.
Performance and Arts club
The school Art Room provides a productive working environment for the students, where the students are encouraged to explore the unique qualities of Visual Performing Arts. Students get away from the routine that gives them freedom to give creative expression to their imagination and thought.
Film Club
The Film club gives pupils and teachers the chance to explore the world of film through after school film clubs.
FILM CLUB inspires, excites and opens up new avenues for learning. It includes diverse activities including Direction, Choreography, etc .Film clubs provide young people with a rare opportunity to be part of something fun, creative and sociable.
Community Services club
Children are engaged in community service activities, to sensitize them to the needs of their community and the world around them; children visit old-age homes and orphanages to understand their situations and also to support under privilege children.

Creative Writing
Why creative writing?
Creative writing courses in school opens a new door for the hopeless, for the misfits, for the adolescents who have yet to discover who they are, and for the adolescents who want to grow in who they are. To teach creative writing in high schools, is not frivolous, but the best gift can be given to the fledgling youth of this nation.
Health Basics and Physical Education
Physical Education is offered in a more formal manner and sports skills are fine-tuned.This may also prepare them to pursue sports in a more structured and purposeful manner, including studying sports education in the secondary school as a formal examination subject. Physical Education is introduced for sport skills and health awareness. Exposure to team and individual sports encourages both a sense of team spirit and individual effort and accomplishment.
Art and Design
The syllabus is designed in such a way that it makes a student respond through observation, stimulation, sensitivity and conceptual thinking. These natural abilities are utilized to their fullest extent so that the learners garner confidence and are able to perceive the problems in multi-dimensional way. This kind of process of learning makes them develop technical skills and evolve ideas right from the initial stage of problem solving till they reach the solution.Sanskaar International’s Art and Design syllabus forms a solid foundation for further studies by creating awareness about the importance of visual art in perceiving society, culture and history. It broadens the view through which a person observes horizons that encompass cultures and give an individual experience of a different kind altogether. It also makes a student’s extract the nectar of knowledge to the fullest extent.
Journalism
Journalism is envisaged as a program that will take journalism to schools across India. Students joining this program will be imparted five sets of skills – knowledge of basic laws that affect their lives as citizens, basic research skills to ferret details, importance of asking questions and the right method of posing them, ability to argue based on facts and the ability to narrate stories. All of this will be accompanied by a close reading of the media so that they can learn to become critical and discriminating readers and viewers of the news media.
Oratory
Oratory, formally known as public speaking reviews the foundations of excellent presentations. It makes you understand the art of effective public speaking and building up stage confidence and explore ways in which participants can connect with audiences in different contexts. It will also involve the participants to make several presentations, which will be recorded and used as part of a feedback process.
Gross Motor Skills
AGross motor skills are the abilities usually acquired during infancy and early childhood as part of a child's motor development. The syllabus mainly focuses on
Body awareness - for improved posture and control
Balance - the ability to maintain equilibrium
Laterality - awareness of the left and right sides of the body
Co-ordination of major muscle groups
Spatial orientation - awareness of the body position in space and in relation to other objects or people.
Yoga and Meditation
Yoga is a form of exercise, meditation, and breathing practices with Indian roots designed to bring unity to the mind, body, and spirit. Children experience many of the same physical benefits adults do from practicing yoga. Yoga strengthens them and helps them become more flexible and coordinated.
We have a specific program for yoga that helps children to develop their powers of concentration, to learn ways to relax and get control of stress in their lives. Besides, yoga for kids teaches self-discipline. As part of the practice of yoga, kids need to slow down, hold certain postures, breathe or think in a certain way. It also enhances imagination and empathy.
In addition to these school also offers innovative and experiential hobbies like Clay modeling, Drawing and painting, Personality Development.
Inter-House Sporting and Cultural Competitions
Inter-house sporting and cultural competitions encourage healthy competition and team spirit. Students begin to contribute to class assemblies, concerts and drama productions , and take on roles of responsibility.
Picnics / Excursions / Trips
School Trips and excursions enable students to expand their understanding of the world from an academic and cultural point of view. Field trips, excursions, activities, project and presentations are aimed at building experiential learning, developing good social skills and raising awareness about the world among kids. Experiential learning helps children appreciate the benefits of education ,develop practical skills and deal with challenges.
Toys Library
Toy libraries are where fun, creativity and play are valued and promoted!
Toy library lends out toys, puzzles, and games that offer play sessions for families and a wide range of toys appropriate for children at different stages in their development. It provide children with new toys every week or two, saving parents money and keeping children from getting bored. Parents can borrow from a vast array of well made toys that have been designed to support their child’s skill development and imagination. Toy libraries aim to support families and encourage togetherness with quality time spent playing with children.
Digital Library
Well stocked library with interesting and informative books on a variety of subjects. Students are encouraged to refer to these books not only for academic purposes but also to discover the pleasure of reading in a serene atmosphere. Digital library includes books, journals, magazines in multimedia format and also have free access to online database. Students have the advantage and the freedom to use digital means to broaden their knowledge spectrum.
Charak’s Nursery
Initially children learn about their world though their senses .The outside world shapes children’s development through experiences that they have, which include using their five senses—hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch. It is through these sensory experiences that they develop much of their brain in the early years Drawing a child’s attention to the five senses and discussing them increases understanding of and communication about the world around them. Charak’s nursery aims to develop a child’s brain and more specifically the stepping pillars of a child’s educational journey through their combined senses and create relationships with environment; smells, touch, taste, and so on. The pedagogy simplifies the learning methods to a more natural and innovative approach.
Infirmary
SIS provides the facility of a small infirmary in the campus. A full time qualified nurse is present to help the students in pain and distress during the school time. The clinic can handle situations by providing immediate relief in the form of first-aid. The school also has tie-up with local hospital situated near the school in case of emergencies.

Introduction
At SIS children participate in a gamut of activities/competitions through out their academic life at the school. The main objective of the co curricular program is, to let our children develop characteristics like, self confidence, sense of co-operation, spirit of emulation & appreciation.
